LTSI South East champs March 2017
Sunday 19th March 2017, we took a road trip to Hatfield in Hertfordshire to compete in the South East Taekwondo championships. We had a team of 16 competitors. It was the first competition for Terri Goodman, who managed to get a silver medal in the sparring. Max Groeger-Wilson fought amazingly well to win his first National level competition. Liam Wise made a welcome return to competition with a stunning performance to take Gold. Kado Bateman stays ahead of all the other competitors in the race for the Competitor of the Year award. Amalia and Aella both returned to winning ways by dominating their opponents with comfortable victories. Charlie Goodman managed to win Gold in only his second competition. James Khan was unlucky to miss out on Gold with a fantastic performance in the final and was at times too quick even for the referees liking. Grace had to be moved up to the next height division and bravely fought larger girls in her round robin and ended up with a bronze. Freddie Mills battled his way to the second round but was beaten at this stage. Rhys Davies continued his winning run with another Gold.
Thanks to all the helpers, coaches, photographers and parents on what was a fantastic day out.
