Applying for a black belt grading:

Step 1: Register your interest in grading:

 

 

 

If your instructor informs you that you are eligible to grade you can then continue to step 2.

Step 2: Book a time for your theory exam which will be an oral exam at a mutually convenient time at a cost of £10.

The pass mark for the exam is 60%. If you fail you will be able to re-take the exam.  Each exam costs £10. Once passed you can continue to step 3.

Step 3: Apply for the practical grading, an invitation to grade will be send directly to you.
